http://PageOneWithGary.com presents: How To Get Your Site On Google Page One. How will you get my site onto page 1 of Google? Specifically what do you do? Today there are LOTS of ways of getting to the top of Googles search results, even apart from pay per click. The good news is the time-tested and proven Internet Marketing methods (which we use) still work — AND THEY WORK WELL. Methods like * identifying the BEST search terms for your market — the words that your potential customers are typing into Google while hunting for your products or your service * using these keywords and key phrases in the right places on your website (keyword placement and keyword proximity) and with the right frequency (keyword density though this is less important these days) * providing sufficient relevant quality content at your website — and also in articles that publicize your site * using an optimized internal linking structure between the pages of your site so that Googles spiders can quickly discover all the public pages on your site — otherwise they cannot index them in their search database. Spiders are robot computers that constantly traverse the web looking for new content * title tags, heading tags, alt tags, and meta tags (but dont worry if youve never heard of these) * optimizing your website to conform to Googles webmaster guidelines and * a collection of other on-page and off-page SEO strategies that all help deliver the desired results (that is, your site on the front page of Google) ASAP. But Ive left the BIGGEST till last * One of the major factors in getting your site onto page 1 is BACKLINKS the number of sites where articles about your business are published, as well as the quality of those sites which link to your site. * While Google does not reveal the detailed inner workings of its algorithm, there is no doubt that getting links to your site from other good quality sites that you dont own (on different IP addresses to yours) is a huge key to getting a top search engine listing. * I have my own private network of blogs (networkGH) where I can publish one-way links to your site. * In addition, Im a member of two other publishing networks (networkBT and networkFT) that most website owners have never heard of. You get the same benefit — non-reciprocal backlinks to your website. * Altogether these networks provide me with FORMIDABLE PROMOTION POWER to push your site to the front page of Google in a short period of time. PageOneWithGary.com is about getting your site onto page 1 of Googles search results as fast as possible, in a completely Google-friendly way — so your prospects in your market CAN FIND YOU. If you dont have the time or interest or skills to undertake the many tasks involved in effective online marketing, I can help. Email me. Lets work together to get your business onto page 1 of Google for your search terms — and to keep it there. Gary Harvey, B.Internet Science & Technology (UOW, 2003), Sydney, Australia.

Jun 23, 2010 - Where Google's way of ranking sites is getting slightly left behind is that many, many sites now use the nofollow property as the default for links from them. I work for a nonprofit organisation and more than 50% of organic links back to us are marked as nofollow. I believe that some blogging software defaults to nofollow which means that bloggers mentioning our site content don't contribute to our Google PR or rankings. Its a shame and its becoming a more serious problem.
. . . . . . . because these video appear directly from youtube.com which we cannot control it.)
